                                   S.M.H. Inc. did my kitchen and basement remodel; to include all plumbing, painting, electrical, drywall and carpentry. The     
                                    the quality of their work is at par with the best in the industry. Steve and his crew were professional, easy to work with and    
                               very responsive. During the course of their remodeling effort, they identified a potential major plumbing problem (main                
                               sewer line root infestation) and brought this to my attention. Thanks to their industry knowledge, I managed to avert a                 
                               major crisis. Suffice it to say, they went well above and beyond my expectations. Steve and his crew epitomizes what a home
improvement company should represent. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend S.M.H. Inc., to anyone.

                                   We had S.M.H. Inc., replace our Indianapolis homes roof, gutters, siding and repainted soffitt, trim and facia. We were

                                     Insurance Restoration - Fire Damage by Judith P.
                                     In May of 2009 an arsonist torched my newly purchased home. Fortunately I had not moved in yet, so no one was hurt.
                                     However there was nothing in the house untouched by fire, smoke or water. It was absolutely devastating.                           
                                      I could not imagine ever living here. SMH and the wonderful men that work for them, not only rebuilt this house, but           
                                      worked with me to make it into a home I wanted to live in. They are good, clean, creative and honest craftsmen. They         
                                      always kept me informed. They worked seamlessly with the insurance company. The most amazing thing is that they           
                                      repaired and remade everything in keeping with the age of the house...you would never know!

                                     After the big hailstorm in June 2009, we hired S.M.H. Inc. to replace our roof, siding and paint the wood trim that was         
                                      damaged. Everything came out great! The crews showed up early and worked through the day, and if they had any              
                                      concerns or found something outside the scope of the insurance claim, they worked with us and the insurance company to    
                                      solve them. We would gladly hire S.M.H. Inc. again for any repairs or remodeling on our home.

                                      S.M.H. Inc. worked with me on my kitchen remodeling and I was so pleased, I decided to remodel the bathroom too. I       
                                       agree with other reviews that they are very attentive, which in my experience, is rare and really nice. That removes the

                                       We hired S.M.H. to take us through the process of selecting and installing new windows across the front of our house.
                                       They provided timely professional service from our first meeting and offered real value during the selection and decision     
                                         making process. Despite a delay from the manufacturer, they delievered our windows installed prior to the Thanksgiving
                                        Holiday which was a high priority for us. Their work crews were knowledgable and skilled at their respective trades and     
                                         considerate of family logistics and schedules. We will certainly use S.M.H. Inc. again as we continue to update and            
                                         renew our home. (Webmaster's note: Ben S. hired us this spring to remove and replace the roof on their home. We also
repl                                     changed the roof over the upper bay window from shingle to steel.)
